What this app does
flying.drg.lee Pin Studio is a single-user personal tool built for the owner of the Pinterest business account chocococatco. It connects to Pinterest only through the official Pinterest API (v5) using OAuth 2.0 authorization.
It does two things, and nothing else:
- Create and schedule Pins on the owner's own boards, with a title, description, destination link and alt text.
- Read analytics for the owner's own Pins and boards, such as impressions, saves and outbound clicks, to see which Pins perform well.
How it uses the Pinterest API
The app calls the following Pinterest API v5 endpoints, only for the authenticated user's own account:
POST /v5/pins— create a Pin on one of the owner's boards.GET /v5/pins/{pin_id}— read a Pin the owner created.GET /v5/boards— list the owner's boards so a Pin can be saved to the right one.GET /v5/user_account/analytics— read performance metrics for the owner's own account.GET /v5/pins/{pin_id}/analytics— read performance metrics for a single Pin.
The app does not read, copy or use any other Pinterest user's Pins, boards or data. It does not collect Pinterest passwords or session cookies; authorization is done only through Pinterest's own OAuth flow.
Who uses it
Only the app owner. This is a personal, single-user tool. It is not offered to the public and no other person signs in to it.
